What stays on your Mac
Ticker saves your watchlist, selected token and change-period preference using macOS UserDefaults. The app has no account system, analytics SDK or portfolio database. It does not ask for wallet addresses, exchange credentials or an API key.
Requests to CoinGecko
Price requests include the CoinGecko IDs of your watchlist tokens. Search requests include the text you enter. CoinGecko receives these requests and the usual network information, including your IP address. Its own privacy policy applies to that service.
This website
The site is served by Cloudflare. It has no advertising scripts, forms, analytics tracking or account cookies added by Ticker. Hosting infrastructure may process request information to deliver pages and downloads and protect the service. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.
Removing the app
Quit Ticker from its options menu, then remove it from Applications. macOS may retain its saved preferences after removing the app.
